Garden

Throughout the world
there are many different gardens
 that people have designed.

 In a Japanese garden,
every tree is perfectly pruned,
without a leaf out of place.
 Nothing is planted without forethought
as to the exact place appropriate to it.

 There are English gardens
that are famous for their roses and perfect lines of shrubbery.
 The number of garden types
are too numerous to mention.

One thing is true of all gardens.
It is joint creation between man's intention
to create a space of tranquility
 and nature's ability to comply.

Gardening God's way

Plant three rows of peas:

Peace of mind
Peace of heart
Peace of soul

Plant four rows of squash:
Squash gossip
Squash indifference
Squash grumbling
Squash selfishness

Plant four rows of lettuce:
Lettuce be faithful
Lettuce be kind
Lettuce be obedient
Lettuce really love one another

No garden should be without turnips:
Turnip for meetings
Turnip for service
Turnip to help one another

Water freely with patience and Cultivate with love.
There is abundance in your garden.... Because you reap what you sow.

To conclude our garden, We must have time:
Time for God
Time for study
Time for prayer

Pretty nice garden!

"In The Garden"

I come to the garden alone

While the dew is still on the roses

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The son of God discloses

And He walks with me

And He talks with me

And He tells me I am His own

And the joy we share as we tarry there

None other has ever known

He speaks and the sound of His voice

Is so sweet that the birds hush their singing

And the melody that He gave to me

Within my heart is ringing

And He walks with me

And He talks with me

And He tells me I am His own

And the joy we share

As we tarry there None other has ever known

 A Woman''s Garden

There's something special about a woman's garden.
It is filled with so many wonderful things.
It is those things in a woman's garden
that makes the things in life a little bit brighter.
Just yesterday,

I planted a garden of my own.
In it is mercy, grace, kindness, forgiveness,
patience and love.
I planted mercy first because mercy is often
what I need the most.
I planted grace second because unmerited favor in full bloom can make any garden of life grand.
I planted kindness third,
not because it isn't important,
but because mercy prepares the way for kindness.

Kindness is a tender smile and a gentle touch.
I planted forgiveness and patience together,
though some say that isn't proper to mix seed.
However, these are two plants that must bloom together.

Forgiveness frees us while patience
shows us how to maintain forgiveness.
Patience perfects us while forgiveness cleanses us.
Lastly,I planted love.
It is the perfect bond
that holds everything else together.

I planted love last because its roots are broad.
They spread throughout the entire garden
and nourish everything planted therein.
A woman's garden keeps her home together.
It brings a certain sunshine
to her corner of the world.

Though she plants all that she is,
it yields a harvest that is larger than life
and with far-reaching consequences.
Never underestimate the garden of a woman,
which is the depths of her heart.
What flows from it are the issues of life.
What garden have you planted, woman?

 Beautiful Flower

There was a beautiful flower
God sent to us on earth
It came one day when it rained
Such a beautiful flower,
who had much to gain
You see it was put in the garden of hope
Only special people see
A miracle from heaven, came to be.

It was unlike any other flower
that was made
For God, Himself picked it
and gave it all He gave
I was very lucky, when I found
this garden of hope
The beautiful flower was surrounded
by birds and butterflies.

I wanted it the most. I prayed
to God to let me have it
Yet I knew if I picked it
and broke the stem
This flower could not live.
So I made a mark so I could find it
And the beauty would never give in.

God spoke to me from
His Kingdom above
He loves me so much,
for I was made from His love
I reminded Him of the birds
and butterflies
He granted the wish, that I too
would have wings to fly.

A beautiful flower, in the garden
which God calls hope
I now can see it, my eyes
are open with deep love
I am not forgotten, when
you see a bird or butterfly
I will live in hearts,
for I have reached the sky.

@Linda Ann Henry

Where there are birds and butterflies
there is hope.

Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
( 1 Chronicles 16:28-30 )(KJV)

Here's my thought for the day.

God's hand is in every
beautiful thing we see,
take time to smell the flowers
and enjoy what God has made.

Memory Garden

A blackbird sang its late sweet song
As dusk began to fall
And outside in the garden
I thought I heard you call
The garden was your pride and joy
Created just for me S
o it wouldn't be surprising
It is here you'd want to be

The perfume of the roses
Hangs sweetly in the air
The petals fall so gently
And scatter everywhere
Roses are a symbol Of love
that's pure and true
So when the roses bloom
I'll always think of you

Lilies as white as snowflakes
You cherish them so much
And now my heart is aching
As I miss your loving touch
They remind me of the day
We were joined in wedded bliss
Lilies in my bouquet
And the magic of your kiss

Honeysuckle grows...
The common hedgerow kind
It has the sweetest scent
Leaves a memory behind
I recall the times spent
Here on tranquil summer days
Wondrous days we shared
Until we went our seperate ways

Flowers in the garden
Blooming everywhere
Reminding me of lost love
And grief that's hard to bear
In the centre of it all stands
A weeping willow tree
It seems to share my mood
As it sheds its tears for me

Somewhere another garden
I'm sure that you now tend
And in the one you left behind
I pray my heart will mend
So until we meet again
Here me whisper dear goodnight
You left our lovely garden
When God called you to the Light

A little peace of heaven

want to take my time and walk within the garden

Of springs beauty and tranquility

Where God adds so many colors

For my bless filled eyes to see

I want to smell the roses

Gaze upon the morning glories, too

As they glisten and sparkle like diamonds

In the early morning dew

I want to plant my seeds

And watch them sprout and grow

So when others walk beside me

They will see the love I’ve sowed

And as I pray in the garden

My knees touch the soft and giving ground

I thank God for all my blessings

This little piece of Heaven… I’ve found

And if you wish to pluck a flower

“Please do”, I always say

“But, if you really like…

You can have… a big bouquet”

When my hands can no longer work the soil

When my planting days are through

In all the joy this garden has given me

I’ll happily pass it on... to you

A Sunbeam In The Garden Of Life

Have you prayed for another
Deep in sorrow and strife?
Then my friend you're a sunbeam
In the garden of life.

Do you pray for another?
When their tears gently flow?
Do you tell them that Jesus
Loves and cares for them so?

Did you tell them that Jesus
Will pick them up if they fall?
He'll bring comfort and peace
If on His name they will call.

If you've said Jesus loves them
And will end pain and strife,
Then my friend you're a sunbeam
In the garden of life.

In the garden of my soul

In the garden I cross the bridge

Inhaling the days of my life

I often reflect in the mirrored waters below

In my celebrations and moments of strife

There I cross over, sitting in a field of rainbow petals

Among the rows of my planted seeds

Sometimes my fingers have grasped the thorns

As I felt the pain of my misdeeds

It is never impossible, for drought cannot kill the seed

In the planting of hope, compassion and love

For we always have saving grace

Raining from the Heavens above

And when the weeds of doubt and shame

Emerge from my gardens floor

It is there;

I get down on my knees... plucking them Saying,

"I need you never more"

There I stop to smell the faint scent of Heaven

"In the garden of my soul"

The journey is all mine... I rejoice!

It is the Lords path that I have chose
